The 1720 Château Mont Collier at Villeny (France), largely untouched, was in rather poor condition in 2011 when we made our first site visit. However, many architectural features remained, including a magnificent historic fireplace.
This project involved restoration of the main house, extensions to the main house, replacement of beams, removal of the roofs and preservation of the 18th century A-frames which were reinstalled under a new roof structure, and preserving the historical facade.
